cool n carry tote
I bought two of these, (my pump didn't come with any), but I didn't realize that they came with bottles too! I thought I was just getting the coolers and ice packs. I hear from a lot of people though, that I will be happy I have extras. I got two cooler totes because I figured I needed one with me and the pump at work, and I would send the other with my husband and son to daycare so that during the 40 minute commute the milk won't get warm. As long as I was already paying a flat shipping rate, it was worth the extra 15 bucks for the added convenience.

Great second set of bottles
This second cooler with bottles is a lifesaver for a full-time working mom. This way if the dishwasher doesn't get run or the freezer packs accidentally get left out, you are still good to go to work in the morning. It is worth the extra money to have a second set.

Great tote for pumping & working moms
I was given one cooler as a gift and was very pleased. I am purchasing a second ,as others have said to have one set for me to add to while at work and the other to go with baby to daycare.This tote was very well thought out when made. The ice packs line 3 of the sides of the cooler ensuring that the breastmilk will stay cold in transit.I like that the cooler is streamlined and small- not padded with bulky cooler fabric. This makes it easy to fit into my bag to go to work or into baby's daycare bag. I like that the bottles have the type of cap that a nipple can be added to to create a bottle easily. This means I do not have to send extra empty bottles to daycare as well- just a set of bottle nipples.I agree it would be nice if the plastic bottles were BPA free- however since breastmilk is never heated in the microwave (and only in warm water to room temp) I feel that the chance of chemicals leaching into the milk is very low. Overall I feel This bag is a great value for any breastfeeding and working mother!

worth its weight in gold, and then some!
I sure wish I knew about this before I was on baby #3. I wandered across this at Babies 'R' Us. No more leaking bottles as you try to shake powdered formula with water (and just get lumps!). About 4 seconds of this blender right in the bottle and milk is TOTALLY blended. Doesn't spatter, even in small (4 oz) bottles; easy one-hand operation (while bottle is sitting on counter and baby is in the other arm!). Then just rinse the end and set aside for next time. On button has both pulse and on (I only ever use pulse because it's that fast). Takes 2 AA batteries.

It's a crapshoot - some work, some don't
We've owned two of these mixers over the past 6 months. They are indispensable if you formula feed (we're formula feeding twins, which makes it doubly necessary!).

Our first PL mixer was great and lasted 5 months before the motor died. I recently purchased another and, after only 2 days, the mixer stopped turning when immersed in liquid.

So, word to the wise, there's a reason why these are so cheap (actually quite a bit cheaper at BrUs). Buy 3 and maybe one will work for you.

CORRECT WAY TO USE ITEM
Believe it or not there is a correct way to use this item. Yes, it's true, it does leave bubbles, however, if you read the literature about how to prepare formula bottles correctly you will see that you should prepare the bottle and put in the fridge for an hour to settle. I breatfeed/formula feed my 4 1/2 month old son & have never had any problems because I prepare his bottles this way. I feel that shaking is more messy and in the long run who needs another mess....aren't we busy enough. :-)

Great Product, highly recommended
Highly recommended if your baby has dry and rough skin. I bought it out of desperation when my 2 yr old son's skin became really dry and rough whilst travelling to the USA in Feb. His usual moisturising soap and body lotion cannot alleviate the problem, so I had to buy something new. After 2 baths, my son's skin became softer than it was before. It is also great as a bubble bath. You can almost feel the lotion as you run your fingers through the bath water.

Great Body Wash for Moms and Babies Alike!!
Huggies Shea Butter Wash is a great smelling, moisturizing, tear proof body wash for mommy's and babies/toddlers alike. My "baby" is 2.5 years old now, but I still only use tear free for him and will for quite some time. I bathe him from head to toe with this baby wash and he comes out smelling so good and clean. I can feel the lotion in the wash, and know it is moisturizing his skin at the same time. Great stuff!

Not bad
Takes a long time to heat the bottle up so start warming 15 mins before a hungry baby starts crying. I wish it had a timer or a beeper because I accidentally left it on the lighter and burned it up in a week. Good tool but I found a drive thru cup of hot water a faster and easier method.

Not recommended!
I throw mine away! It has been plugged in my car(which was running) for about an hour and still the bottle is barely warm! My baby's bottle did not even came from the fridge! It is definitely a waste of money!

great design and fits cupholder
I ordered this one because the others had buttons in the bottom that would turn off when the bottle was not directly on the sensor. since the others had oval bottoms they didn't fit in a standard cup holder either, thus it had to sit on it's side and the bottle would move off the sensor and it would turn off. this one stays on , heats quickly, and fits in cup holder.

Not compatible with all Medala Bottles
I recently purchased these nipples and I was disappointed to discover they did not fit. The package says "compatible with all Medala bottles" but they did not fit my Medala bottle necks. I called Medala customer service and they are apparently aware of this and they are sending me new bottle necks (free of charge).
I recently bought another set of Medala glass bottles and the cap that came with those bottles is clear in color. The previous ones I bought the cap is yellow. It looks like these nipples fit the clear capped bottle necks but not the yellow capped bottle necks.
Bottom line, the package should not read "compatible with all Medala bottles" but I am pleased with the level of customer service I rec'd when I called Medala about this.

Good nipples, misleading picture
I ordered this item thinking that it would have the yellow neck needed to attched the nipple to the bottle as well. The nipples work fine. They're a nice size, not too big, but I would have liked to have the neck accessories as well.

Not completely satisfied
These sippy cups are praised for their inability to leak, however, they do leak. We've been using these sippy cups for about 2 months and have had several problems. First of all, the "built-in soft, silicone valve" that is supposed to prevent leaks, drips, usually while our daughter is drinking, causing the milk to go into her nose. But we've actually had more problems with milk leaking out from under the rim when the sippy is turned on it's side. The two notches on the silicone spout are lined up, but the problem still exists. We just can't figure out what the problem could be, after such a short time of having them. I will not buy anymore of these, because they are too unpredictable and they do not do what they are supposed to do.

great for younger babies
I had low supply and while I had to supplement with formula we never used a bottle. Instead I used an SNS, but by the time she was about 6 months old she was constantly pulling at the SNS tubing making it very difficult for me. So I decided to switch to sippys. I bought one of these thinking the long tube would be an easier transition for her. It did take a little bit but my 6 month old did figure out how to use this sippy! :D We gave her her supplement in that until she was about 11 months and she gave up formula on her own.



Pros:

~easy for breast fed babies to learn

~easy to clean (by hand or dishwasher)

~very inexpensive (on sa\e for $1, normally $2-$3 at walmart)

~silicone can be boiled in case of thrush (or just cheaply replace the whole thing)

~tops are interchangeable with the 'regular' sippy tops that nuby makes.

~is no spill as long as the silicone is untorn (see below)



Cons:

~the silicone top tears easily between the slits, causing it to quickly become too fast of a flow

~impossible to find replacement silicone tops. must just buy a whole new sippy (good thing they are cheap)

~if torn may leak when not using. but for a young baby this isn't really a problem since they cant use it by themselves anyway

Poor advertising
I was excited to order thse for my kids, only when I got them I was very disapointed. Not only do they leak, but they are more like a baby bottle than a big kid sports bottle. The top of it is like a baby bottle nipple so my 2 older boys were embarased to take them to school. I feel like them being listed as "Sports Sippers" comes off as faulse advertising as it aludes to the product is for older children, but is nothing more than a glorified baby bottle.

Leaves my skin soft & smelling Oh SO good!
I have used Johnson's baby lotion off and on for years. My mom used this on me when I was a baby and I have continued ever since. It leaves my skin feeling lightly moisturized without that sticky, greasy feeling you can get from other lotions. And believe me I have used TONS of lotions and usually end up throwing 1/2 the bottle out. Not my Johnson's! I also love the powder fresh smell and the retro pink bottle. Next to my Palmer's cocoa butter lotion I use for nights when I want more of a deep moisturizer, this is the best!

This product saved my life (and my sanity)!
These nipples are the reason I'm able to breastfeed my daughter. She would not latch on well, and when she did latch on she wouldn't suck good enough to get anything out so she would get frustrated and quit. I had to bottle feed her for several weeks after birth. From experience with my first child I knew that once babies are given a bottle, it is more difficult to get them back on the breast. Not only do they get nipple confusion, but other bottles flow faster so they are more instantly satisfied. I have tried other so called "non-drip" nipples and they do not work. I saw these in the store and decided to give them a try. Let me tell you at first my daughter did NOT like them, because they actually DO NOT DRIP just like they claim. So she had a hard time learning how to suck, however, that is exactly what I needed her to learn how to do. So I stuck with this nipple insisting that she learn eventually, and she did. Once she had a good grasp of the sucking, I was able to transition her back to the breast with no nipple confusion at all. I would recommend these to anyone who is looking for a true non-drip nipple. I hate how the other nipples continue to drip in the baby's mouth even when they stop sucking, because that is not realistic to what the breast does. I think it makes them "lazy" and I don't like how my baby would gasp with the other bottles because the flow was way too fast (yes even the slow flow nipples). With these when she takes a break from sucking the flow stops just like at the breast. LOVE IT!

Not for Newborns
I have a 2 month old and bought a pack of bottles with these nipples to try because my other bottle set leaks and I cannot transport liquid in them in the diaper bag. Unfortunately my daughter cannot get anything out of the nipple whatsoever. She has no trouble latching on the breast or using Avent nipples. The only reason I am giving 1 star because I can not use them currenly, but I hope to use them in the future when she gets older. If she ever gets a hang of the nipple, I will come back and edit this post.

Milk on the floor no more!
Well, I've bought these nipples for three different kids. Their only flaw is that they can wear out kind of quickly, but it's pretty obvious, if they leak, they need to be replaced. As the other mom said, if you push the nipple cleaning brush into them too hard you can rip the nipple itself, but I've only seen that happen when they were pretty well used to begin with.

One of the reviews said that their baby couldn't get anything out of the bottle, that just sounds silly to me.

These are the only bottle nipples I have ever found that don't leak. I particularly love them for children who are of the age of crawling and walking about, and not quite ready for a sippy cup. If you have a newborn, this probably isn't the right product for you, and it'd be kind of silly. A newborn isn't the one constantly knocking over a bottle or leaving it on it's side. I like to use bottles over sippy cups because they are easier to clean by far. Also, my kids just haven't transitioned well from a soft nipple to a hard spout. Any soft spout sippy I've hated, leaked and was difficult to clean. These nipples though solved the whole problem altogether, I keep them on the bottle a little bit longer, and don't have milk all over my house. I highly recommend them.

Playtex is the Gold Standard in Sippies
We have been using Playtex sippies for about four years now, for two children and they are by and large the best of all that we've tried.

There are other attractive models out there, but they tip over easily (what marketing genius thought a narrower at the bottom than at the top design was a good idea!) and don't last. The plastic that they are made out of is hard and it eventually cracks-- dropped or from dishwasher wear.

The Playtex models (either insulated or not) stay upright (most of the time LOL) and are easily cleaned by hand or in a dishwasher.
(Hand tested on vacation and at nana's.)

The only thing that we have done to maintain them is to replace the valve thingies as they will start to age after a year or so and leak despite what other reviewers have said. These replacement valves are cheap though and no problem to find.

As to insulation, they insulate to a limited extent but don't expect to have your milk stay good for more than an hour or so in a hot environment. (Tested in Florida, Texas, and Virginia.)

Five Stars. The best that we have used and we have tested just about everything on the market.

Really spill-proof!
Very good quality cups, don't spill even if kept upside-down. The lid or the spill-proof thing inside, never come off even if the cup is dropped from the dining table, which my son does once in a while! Easy to clean as the shape is regular (without unnecessary curves, etc.)

I have tried other brands and this one is by far the best, the spill-proof mechanism is superior to the others.

Good buy, I'd definitely recommend it.

Great cup!
My daughter loves these cups. They stay pretty cold and we live in Arizona. I have purchased other cups that leak a lot. So far no problems.
